Thirty days
If CodeBold Commerce Pro is not right for your shop, ask within 30 days of purchase and you get your money back. You do not have to give a reason.
We would rather hear the reason, because it is usually something we can fix and occasionally something we have already fixed. But it is not a condition.
What happens to the software
Nothing. The plugin carries on working exactly as it did the day before, and it will carry on working next year.
This is not generosity, it is how the software is built. The licence key controls updates and support and nothing else — there is no code in the plugin that asks whether you have paid, and no response we can send that switches a feature off. A shop that has been refunded keeps its till, its stock records, its reports and its data, because all of it lives in your own WooCommerce database and always did.
What stops is new versions and support. If you want those back later, buy again; nothing needs reinstalling.
How to ask
Email support@codeboldcommerce.com from the address you bought with, or reply to your receipt. Tell us the licence key or the order number — the receipt has both.
For sales outside India the receipt comes from Paddle, who are the seller of record for those orders. You can ask them directly at paddle.net and they will process it, or ask us and we will. Either works; asking both at once tends to slow it down rather than speed it up.
Money goes back to the card or account it came from. Paddle and Razorpay both take a few working days to settle it, and that part is not ours to hurry.
Renewals
A subscription renews automatically so that updates do not stop without warning. We send a reminder fourteen days before, three days before, and on the day.
If a renewal charge catches you out, tell us and we will refund it. Cancelling stops the next charge and does not shorten the term you have already paid for — you keep updates and support until the date on your account page.
The free plugins
There is nothing to refund. Every plugin we make has a free version that costs nothing and always will. If you are reading this because a free plugin has gone wrong, that is a support question rather than a refund one, and the address is the same.
Chargebacks
Please email us first. A chargeback costs us a fee and takes weeks; an email takes a day, and we have never argued with a refund request. If you have already raised one, let us know and we will not contest it.
