The same sack,
every three weeks.
The same customer.
A pet shop lives on repeat trade. The person collecting feed on a Saturday is the person who ordered online last month, and in most shops those are two different records that never meet. Here they are one, because the till and the website are the same WooCommerce.
Regulars you know
and the system doesn't.
You know the dog, the brand and roughly when they will be back. The till knows a card payment for ₹2,400. When they ask what they bought last time, or whether the food they liked is in, the answer lives in your head — and when you are not on the counter it does not exist at all.
What stops happening
- Regulars recognised by staff but invisible to the system
- Website customers and shop customers held as separate people
- Feed and treats going out of date on the bottom shelf
- Big bags counted by eye because moving them to count is a job
- No idea which lines actually repeat and which just sit
Grocery &
convenience.
Feed is groceries for animals. It is barcoded, it moves in weight and bag size, and it goes off — which is the grocery profile precisely.
You choose · Grocery & convenience
Batches and expiry on feed
Stock held per product, per outlet, per batch, with the date captured when the delivery is booked in.
Fast scanning
A queue on a Saturday morning, not a browse. Scan, add, take payment.
Weight and size as variations
A 2kg and a 12kg bag of the same food are one product with two sizes, so ordering and counting happen at product level.
Anything the choice leaves out is hidden, not removed. You are not locked out of a thing by picking wrong at setup — a clothes shop simply is not shown expiry dates it will never use, and a grocery is not shown a size matrix. Change your mind and it is all still there.
What actually
helps here.
One customer, shop and website
A sale on the till attaches to the same WooCommerce customer as an order on the site. Their history is one history, so anybody on the counter can see what they bought last time.
Loyalty that survives the counter
Points earned online can be spent in the shop and the other way round, because there is one customer record and one balance rather than two schemes.
Expiry you can act on
Dates recorded at receiving mean near-dated feed is something you can list rather than something you find.
Customers, loyalty points, batches and expiry are all in the free plugin.
What we
do not do.
A pet shop is often three businesses in one building. This plugin is only the retail one.
No appointments or bookings
Grooming, day care, training classes — anything with a diary — has no place here. There is no calendar, no slot, no staff availability and no reminder. If bookings are a real part of your income you will need something else alongside this.
No livestock records
Animals held for sale are stock like anything else: a quantity on a shelf. There is no individual record, no arrival or health history, and nothing that treats one rabbit differently from another.
No subscriptions or repeat orders
You will be able to see that a customer buys the same feed every three weeks. Nothing automates it — there is no standing order, no auto-reorder and nothing that charges them again.
We would rather lose the sale here than in week one.
For this trade.
Will a shop sale show on the customer’s website account?
Can loyalty points be used in both places?
Does it track expiry on feed?
Can it book grooming appointments?
How do I handle bags of different weights?
One customer,
not two.
The counter and the website already share your products. They should share your regulars too.
